💫 United in Effort, Warmth in Action – A Report on CJZSA’s Successful Completion of the 2025 Casino Volunteer Task
April 19 and 20, 2025 marked another memorable chapter in the history of the Calgary Jiang Zhe Shanghai Association (CJZSA). Over the course of two full days, our members came together and successfully completed an intensive casino volunteer task. More than just a service activity, this event carried profound significance: it provided vital financial support that helps sustain our daily operations, cover facility rent, and organize various programs.
🕰 Three Shifts, Tireless Dedication
The task was organized into three time slots:

First shift: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Second shift: 7:00 PM to 3:45 AM

Third shift: 11:00 PM to 3:45 AM
Despite the long hours, our volunteers performed diligently. Especially moving were those without private transportation, who still arrived punctually under challenging conditions.
One standout among them was Mr. Shaolin Zhang, nearly 80 years old, who completed two consecutive night shifts. His unwavering commitment deeply inspired all of us.
🤝 Cross-Organizational Coordination
This task wasn’t accomplished by CJZSA alone. Volunteers from the Zhiyin Choir and the Cultural Centre also lent their support. Given that English was the primary language at the venue, we thoughtfully arranged English-speaking volunteers for communication-heavy roles, while others were assigned to suitable support positions. The whole team worked in harmony and completed the mission smoothly.

2025 CASINO义工服务顺利完成

2025年4月19日与20日，又是一个值得铭记的日子。我们卡城江浙上海联谊会再次齐心协力，成功完成了为期两天的CASINO义工任务。这不仅仅是一场义工行动，更是一项对我们联谊会具有重要意义的资金支持来源——为会所的正常运作、房租支付、日常活动筹备，注入了不可或缺的动力。
🕰 三班轮替 日夜奋战
本次任务分工明确，节奏紧凑，全天分为三个时段进行：
义工们在寒风夜雨中坚守岗位，尤其是那些没有车辆的朋友，在交通不便的情况下依旧准时到岗，令人动容。
其中，年近八旬的张少林老师令人肃然起敬，他坚持完成两个深夜班，成为本次任务最令人感佩的精神象征。
🤝 跨组织合作 高效协同
这次任务不仅有联谊会的骨干成员参与，更有来自知音合唱团以及文化中心的义工朋友们携手合作，共同完成任务。由于现场主要使用英文交流，我们安排了英语能力强的义工负责沟通岗位，其他成员则被巧妙调配到适合的支持任务中，展现了高度的组织与协作能力。
